The Single Best Tip For Pal Catching In ‘Palworld’

While I am far from the biggest Palworld expert out there, I have at least started hitting achievements on Steam telling me I’m further along than 90-95% of players. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with more basic advice, and here’s a tip that I wish I knew from the beginning, as it would have saved a lot of frustration in my attempts to catch Pals in Palworld, both big and small.

  • Right away, you will get the Pal Daedream, who acts as a turret that will reduce the health of wild Pals to 1, and no lower, perfect for catching.
  • Soon, however, you can buy the Ring of Mercy, an item you wear that gives you the ability to reduce Pal health to 1 without killing it.
  • The problem is twofold. Either you have to burn ammo or durability on Pals, sometimes way more beefy than you, to get them down to 1, or you have to rely on your summoned pals to fight them, with the risk that they do too much damage and kill them.
  • What I was told that is brilliantly helpful here is that if you are mounted on a Pal with the Mercy Ring, that Pal will not reduce the catchable Pal’s health below 1. So, the play is to often do that with your favorite ground or aerial ride, then hop off, immediately suck them back into their ball, and then start throwing your balls at them for your best chance at capture, given their 1 health. This saves much, much frustration.
