Backed by 300 stress signals and evidence-based remedies — available November 2025

The Hidden Cost of “Having It All”

Fifteen years into my corporate career as a Business Manager, I had a breakdown that saw me off work for three months.

It wasn’t one thing it was an accumulation. Years of overwork. A former manager who bullied me relentlessly. Then lockdown hit, and I couldn’t cope with the constant change. I was supposed to attend a five-day intensive training course. I couldn’t do it. My body and mind simply shut down.

I thought my company would support me. Instead, while I was off recovering, they took my grade. They took my job. Then they moved me into a role I didn’t want—kicking me while I was already broken.

I couldn’t fight back. I was too unstable. When my dad passed away shortly after, I knew I couldn’t go back. I left.

That breakdown forced me to face a truth I’d been living with for over 20 years: I had qualified as a stress management specialist back in 2000, but I’d never pursued it. Instead, I stayed in corporate, managing my own stress through holistic therapies, living the principles quietly but never fully stepping into my purpose.

Leaving that job was the catalyst. I started my own business to help other women avoid what I went through. Since then, I’ve spoken at events and networking groups, connecting with thousands of women who are living the same exhausting cycle I once did.

Here’s what I know now: Stress isn’t weakness. It’s a business liability. And if you’re ignoring the signs, you’re leaving money, impact, and longevity on the table just like I almost did.

What I’m Launching

My new book, Unlock the Secrets to Stress Relief: 300 Hidden Signs You’re Stressed and What to Do About Them Before It’s Too Late, launches in early November 2025.

It’s a practical, evidence-based guide that helps women leaders recognize the silent ways stress shows up physically, mentally, and emotionally—and provides real-world strategies to restore balance before burnout becomes irreversible.

Because stress shows up differently during hormonal shifts, I’m also releasing my 14-Day Perimenopause & Menopause Transformation: Cool, Calm, and Consistent Sleep course in December 2025. This programme helps women aged 40–55 go from hormone-fuelled rage, anxiety, and night-sweat insomnia to feeling cool, calm, and consistently getting 7+ hours of restorative sleep without expensive HRT or complex clinical programs.

Why This Is a Business Issue, Not Just a Wellness Issue

Stress isn’t just affecting our health. it’s affecting our bottom line.

81% of UK women felt overwhelmed or unable to cope in 2024 (Mental Health Foundation Survey, 2024)

53% of US women report higher stress levels than a year ago (American Psychological Association, 2024)

Women aged 35–54—peak leadership years face the highest risk for stress-related insomnia, anxiety, and burnout.

The cost? Slower decision-making. Missed opportunities. Burnout that takes years to recover from.

Here’s the truth: Chronic stress reduces cognitive performance by up to 50%, increases decision-making errors, and costs UK businesses £56 billion annually in lost productivity (Health and Safety Executive, 2024). For entrepreneurs and senior leaders, the stakes are even higher: your ability to think clearly, lead confidently, and stay resilient isn’t optional. it’s your competitive advantage.

Stress is not a badge of honour. It’s information. And when you decode it, you protect your energy, your business, and your impact.

Three Ways This Book Will Sharpen Your Edge

From Burnout to Clarity

Identify the 300 hidden stress signals your body sends—so you can act before productivity tanks, relationships suffer, or health forces you to step back. From restless sleep and tension headaches to irritability and digestive shifts, you’ll learn what each signal means and how to respond.

From Overwhelm to Calm Leadership

Learn evidence-based techniques to reset your nervous system in minutes not hours. Simple breathing exercises, grounding practices, and mindset tools help you stay sharp, focused, and present without needing to “take a week off.” These are strategies that fit into your actual life, not an idealized version of it.

From Survival Mode to Strategic Thinking

Reconnect with your intuition, creativity, and long-term vision. It’s not about doing less. it’s about leading from alignment, not adrenaline. When you operate from a regulated nervous system, you make better decisions, build stronger teams, and protect the longevity of your career.

What’s Inside the Book

300 Hidden Stress Signs – the physical, emotional, and mental clues you’re missing every day

The Stress Relief Framework – explains why stress happens, what it does to your body, and how to reverse it naturally

Practical Remedies & Rituals – quick, holistic solutions that fit into any schedule Affirmations & Reflections – mindset shifts that replace pressure with peace

Natural Remedy Recipes – simple rituals to soothe your nervous system and restore balance

Every page is designed to help you reconnect body, mind, and soul so you can lead with calm confidence again.

The Data Behind the Crisis

74% of UK adults felt so stressed in the past year they felt unable to cope (Mental Health Foundation Survey, 2024)

79% of UK employees report moderate-to-high stress levels, with women showing the highest rates (MHFA England, 2024)

Women are 35% more likely than men to report physical symptoms of stress (American Psychological Association, 2024)

These aren’t just statistics. They’re your colleagues, your peers, and possibly you. The professional women carrying triple loads career, family, emotional management while being told to “just meditate” or “push through.” That approach is failing us. We need a new framework.

In My Words

“Take one small step. Keep taking steps. Before long, the compound effect of those steps becomes transformation and when you look back, you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come.”

That philosophy drives everything I teach. Transformation isn’t about giant leaps or radical life overhauls. It’s built one calm, conscious choice at a time. Small, consistent systems beat heroic sprints every time.
